Members Choice Credit Union Launches Instant Issue for Debit Cards

Members Choice Credit Union is expanding its member experience solution for credit union members with the rollout of Instant Debit Card Issuance.  Available immediately the service is part of the credit union’s ongoing commitment to creating connected solutions that deepen member engagement through modern experiences. 

With Instant Debit Card Issuance, cards are issued on-site at any Members Choice Credit Union location, with the exception of Downtown Russell.  Members can begin using the card within minutes. 

“Instant Issue solves real problems for both cardholder members and the credit union,” said Jenna Ramey, Operations Manager for Members Choice CU.  “When a card is lost, the security and accessibility of our members access to their money is lost.  Debit cards are most members main access for everyday financial transactions.  Instant Issue puts the card right back into members hands, delighting the cardholder.”

Instant Issue is offered anytime a member opens a new checking account at Members Choice CU, or requests a new card.  “Instant Issue shortens the replacement window from seven or more days to just a few minutes,” said Travis Reed, Information Systems Manager for Members Choice Credit Union.  “We strive to bring our members new solutions to make their lives more convenient and we are pleased to offer this service to members in our area.”

Currently, only debit cards can be instantly printed and made ready for immediate use. Credit cards are not eligible at this time. Some fees apply.
